STATEMENT

A FORM WITHOUT FEELING IS A FAILURE. Painting, analog photography, and printmaking comprise my practice. All prints are inkjet printed from hi res scans. Enlargements from the original 35mm negative and customer larger sized prints are available. Price upon request. Prints are on fine art photo papers, cold pressed watercolor paper, or Japanese Rice Papers. I have worked in black & white infrared 35mm for over 50 years. I also work with Polaroid, color negative, and standard black & white, all analog, never photoshopped. I’ve re-discovered the cyanotype process and create Sunprints. SpiritScapes which are enlargements from the Polaroid original are all camera originals, unprocessed, not photoshopped. They are enlarged and printed on 16” x 16” cold pressed watercolor paper. Watercolor is my primary painting medium. I have a series of "unfinished" portraits which shall remain unfinished. Occasionally, new colors or elements are added. They are in constant transition. Subjects includes: Saints & Sinners, Ancient Warrior Queens, Sneakers.
