THE ARTISTS

-4 Studio - 2
Working as a sculptor for the last 35 years, Lois Teicher has been involved in hundreds of exhibitions and has her large-scale modern sculptures installed publicly around the country. Teicher has received many grants including The Governors Award for lifetime achievement, the Pollock-Krasner, NY 🔥 twice, and The Maas Prize. Creating site specific works for public and private spaces, Teicher has been commissioned to create work for Hudson’s Art Park, adjacent to The Scarab Club, Bishop International Airport, Adams Dairy Parkway in Blue Springs, Missouri, Downtown Detroit YMCA, Shir Shalom synagogue, and a large scale piece for First Holding Management Co. in W. Bloomfield, Mi. She continues to work and create in her Detroit studio.
Nancy Under Bio - 3
Nancy Unger uses industrial materials to signify the foundation of our lives, the domiciles and work spaces we inhabit. They are imperfect as our lives are imperfect. Moving to NYC after receiving a BFA from the University of Delaware in Photography she used her art to shock and be aggressive with her images, which were primarily nude women expressing challenges with self-perception, both physically and emotionally. Now, living in the Metro Detroit area with her family, her life is so much more complicated and layered, so her work reflects the complex and textured quality of a life rich in experiences.
Quinn - 4
Quinn Faylor (they/them) is a queer multi-disciplinary artist living and working in Detroit, MI. I was born and raised in Petoskey, Michigan. In 2016, Quinn graduated from the University of Michigan with a BA in Arts and Ideas in the Humanities. Their painting work centers on embodiment and joy. Their compositions are a celebration.
