    Mr.

I just got notice that a piece of my artwork has been accepted into the Bombay Sapphire Artisan Series as a Detroit Semi finalist. They tell me there will be between 20 to 25 Detroit area artists in the show. There are 13 regions in the competition, Detroit being one of them. The work will be displayed at the N'namdi Center for Contemporary Art at 52 East Forest Avenue, Detoit 48201 October 12th through 27th. (This is a premier Detroit art gallery.) There is a gala party there on October 26, from 6 to 9 pm. Everyone welcome, more the merrier. The art is judged by a professional art jury, which selects a piece for the finals. If not selected by the jurors then the artwork is available for a second set of votes by the public, done online. If jury selects or it gets enough online votes it is shipped to the finals in Florida, and me too. So this is a bit of a big deal. Need votes! All Regional Finalists (excluding the 13 Regional Winners) and up to 100 Online Finalists, will be featured in the online voting pool. Voting is open to the public between 12:00:01 AM ET on August 22, 2018 and 11:59:59 PM ET on October 26, 2018, the two (2) entries with the highest number of votes will be deemed the Online Winners. The two (2) Online Winners will advance to SCOPE Miami Beach to exhibit their work. There is a limit of one (1) vote per person, per entry, per day, and a person may only use one e-mail address to vote. You can go to the Bombay website to see what they have had in previous years, and when August 22 gets here my work and the competitors will be up for viewing (and voting). https://www.bombaysapphire.com/us/en Thank you for your support Yours Jerome Patryjak
