I'm a fan of sunflowers and their sheer visual prowess. They also signify the beginning of fall, and therefore hold a special place for me as I feel most alive and creative during the fall season. There is just something about watching the end of summer, in all its glory, all the while relaxing, breathing and knowing that even as the leaves change a new beginning is just beyond the horizon. A new beginning with wonderful new finds in nature...full of blooming surprises that defy the logic of beauty.
