“Let’s dance” was a fun work to make. Small enough to handle and easy to transport! My goal was to make a series of smaller cement studies for future work to come. I am known to dance while I Make my artwork- usually with my Australian shepherd dogs. I have always been intrigued by ‘the figurative’ and continue to explore art making in intuitive ways of seeing and feeling. I also love to juxtapose family memorabilia into the work. In this case_ an earring from one of my grandmother’s.

“Let’s Dance”
A dance for peace and healing–an instrument that sings and dances of those I have lost and loved.

It is a reminder that we are all connected in spirit.
