Detroit

Detroit is a “Beauty and the Beast” city, full of classic architecture and urban decay. The city is currently undergoing what I like to call a new “Golden Age,” with new construction and business returning.

The Sun Sets. The sun may not be setting the the S.S. Ste. Claire (one of two boats that ferried passengers on the Detroit River to Boblo Island) as the owners are vowing to rebuild and turn it into a museum. Morning Ride. The Cullen Family Carousel is located along the Detroit Riverwalk.Handcrafted and designed especially for Detroit, the carousel features animals to ride on that are indigenous to the area around the Detroit River, including an egret.
