OUR NEWEST ARTIST PARTNERS – SUMMER/2 2025

I was in New Mexico recently and in anticipation of my trip, I reached out to a number of Southwest artists with interesting artwork to set up studio appointments and/or meetings. Then while in Santa Fe, I attended an art show and met even MORE amazing artists from around the country.

Quite a few of them had the quality of art and quality of person I expect so I’m excited to share my newest cohort of talented and hand-picked Artist Partners. Their diverse pieces add high craftsmanship, beauty and delight to Embrace Creatives internal library and into art collections for upcoming corporate and hospitality clients. Get to know them and reach out to me to request a meet and greet!

Mary Lynn McPherson (T) + Susan Rennie McPherson (B)

Lives and works in Minnesota.

Their art is a culmination of Mary’s encaustic and painting expertise and Renne’s photography mastery. They harmoniously blend the essence of nature, creating a serene space of peace and tranquility inviting you to release the stress of daily life and reconnect with a sense of balance and calm. Mary and Rennie’s practice is drawn to the subject of dormant bonsai trees. Just in the way many artists paint nudes to see the structure and beauty of the human body, we exhibit the beauty and structure of the tree. Their work is influenced by Asian artists Ando Hiroshige and Katsushika Hokusai in terms of the focus on nature blending with life.

Kathleen Casey

Lives and works in New Mexico.

Art is because it comes from the space that doesn’t have to do with hunger or the urge to go to the bathroom. It’s a big broad space. It lurks beyond subsistence. What comes out in this series of hands and families? Dark. Light. Lost. Found.

Joshua Gannon

Lives and works in New Mexico.

The amazing occurrences in our world all took place under the stare of a plain old rock. Imagine the events witnessed. I get to affect that with my work. I get to add to it, or detract. And I get to share the little I understand about these things with those who may know less.

Kathleen and Joshua are married and use the landscape and local materials to craft indoor and outdoor art pieces. Joshua designs fountains out of quartz monzonite and basalt, while Kathleen paints wall art using traditional materials and encaustic tools and hand throws pots and home goods from Micaceous Clay.
