Michael was inspired to use clean lines, shadow play, and geometric shapes to showcase depth and dimension for this piece. Take a step in either direction to experience a different perspective in beauty, intersection, and depth. This work bears resemblance to the corneal stromal cell layer of the eye where precise alignment is required to achieve effective transparency for vision.

STATEMENT
Capturing the eye is everything. My motivation for each 3D geometric installation is to showcase a simple design but one far from basic. Head on, each installation appeals to the minimalist aesthetic. But, take a step in either direction to experience a different perspective in beauty, intersection, and depth. Copper banding and hand-crafted wooden wall pegs suspend each corded layer. The shadow play is my favorite part.
