Studying the Guitar

I could have created a long shot of this guitar, but instead I chose to make a close up study of its construction and decorative features. Converting to black and white heightened the lines and curves and really makes the image an abstract of reality. This image is part of a series I created showcasing the design and artistry of the actual instrument rather than the player.
