Soothe the Wild Beast

My studio, a piece of antique glass, and experimental lighting provided the inspiration for this digitally manipulated photograph. It is part of a series called Humble Beginnings (of which I do have a signature piece). I create humble yet thoughtful images and with a creative vision and process in mind, transform them into something abstract. The beauty of the abstract is the the viewer can see whatever they want to. I love the colors in this image, and the motion. It reminds me of a musical score, with swirling notes and harmonies – if music could be “seen”, I believe it might look like this.
