This old-fashioned and well-dressed Catalan man caught my eye from the window of a moving metro train in Barcelona. What I love about this modern-day scene is how it could so easily have been captured in the fifties. It was a moment of instinct – the train was pulling away when I saw him and I only had a few seconds to take out my camera. I love the film noir elements and subtle motion blur. Artist: Diana Pappas
