STATEMENT
Asia Hamilton has been shooting textures around the Detroit area for 10 years. She photographs textures arranging shape, color, and form to create a composition that resembles an abstract painting. This piece incorporates fragments of a Detroit building. It is from the abstract texture photography series "SURFACE".
