Bird's Eye View

I captured this image from 30,000 feet in the air. I was mesmerized by the play of light and shadow and the defined forms and texture of the earth that can only be appreciated from such a lofty height. If you zoom in on this image, the detail is quite staggering. I love modern technology and the amazing glass and sensors it has created, but the camera did not take the picture- I did. The sepia-like tone lends on old-timey feel to the image and nods to the age of this planet we call home.
