Athens Rooftops

Artwork Tags:

A spectacular vista over the city of Athens and its endless balconies, awnings and rooftops is the subject of this fine art photography print. In making this photograph I was drawn to the different perspectives that this view offers – you can go into the detail of a particular building or balcony and imagine the lives of the residents, or pull out and appreciate the graphic elements to the scene with its mosaic-like qualities. Artist: Tom Bland

STATEMENT

PappasBland is the combined photography work of Diana Pappas and Tom Bland. Partners in work and life, our aim is to create photographs that present a unique perspective of familiar scenes, while also revealing the hidden beauty in everyday subjects that largely go unnoticed. We infuse our work with a meticulous attention to detail and a refined, contemporary aesthetic.
