When we are quiet the mind is at peace and we are calm. When we get absorbed into everything around us and are mind is rushing about and we are letting are emotions run away with us then the peace and calm disappear. The wise tell us to strive to calm the mind and be at peace.
About Artist
STATEMENT
My work is inspired by my thoughts, feelings, musings and meditations about reality and whether there is such a thing. Who am I and how do I fit into the infinite cosmos? Buddhist teaching says everything is part of everything else just one infinite, timeless oneness and what we call reality is just a dream, a phantom, a drop of dew, a bolt of lightning. I like that thought.
