Large format post-expressionistic painting in the style of street artists and the celebrated work of Jean-Michel Basquait. This is one of a six paintings using various media including spray paints reminiscent of street art. I wanted to convey both an ominous and hopeful theme in this painting while maintaining a pleasing, colorful and harmonious composition. I hope I have accomplished this. The complimentary colors are used to add a 3-D quality. What do you see? A masked ball, a wedding, or a "trip."
