I am forever awed by natures cycle of seasons especially early spring when it is still cold and often a bit of snow on the ground. I know that soon a brave plant will send up its first shoot pushing through the cold soil to take in the sun. I look for this every spring and am always surprised how quickly it happens. They are just sprouts so I don’t know what kind of plant is emerging I just know something beautiful is happening here.

STATEMENT
My work is inspired by my thoughts, feelings, musings and meditations about reality and whether there is such a thing. Who am I and how do I fit into the infinite cosmos? Buddhist teaching says everything is part of everything else just one infinite, timeless oneness and what we call reality is just a dream, a phantom, a drop of dew, a bolt of lightning. I like that thought.
