Prints are available through: [email protected] This colorfield painting was done to evoke strong feelings in the viewer and projects to me the idea of fiery heat on a more peaceful field of blues. I enjoy painting non-representational abstracts that allow the viewer to have their own interpretation and personal emotional response. As Mark Rothko said: “I’m interested only in expressing basic human emotions-tragedy, ecstasy, doom, and so on.” In these times it is difficult to convey tranquility leading to my more stormy art.
