The early morning sun turns any wooded area into a beautiful pallet of colors. I especially love the purple and reddish brown tones of the tree bark that the early sun highlights. This painting developed that scene further and abstracts it for emphasis.
About Artist
STATEMENT
My work is inspired by my thoughts, feelings, musings and meditations about reality and whether there is such a thing. Who am I and how do I fit into the infinite cosmos? Buddhist teaching says everything is part of everything else just one infinite, timeless oneness and what we call reality is just a dream, a phantom, a drop of dew, a bolt of lightning. I like that thought.
