Peering. Forceful. This portrait of an unknown person felt like they should be well, either retreating or coming forward, depending on the viewer. For me, moving forward or backwards really depends on my emotional state that day. Loving hints of texture, I added thread, slowly in a way that from afar could be viewed as either pencil or light brush strokes.
