Lil Yaqui was designed using colors lent from traditional Yaqui textiles and pottery. My grandmother, Delia Estrella, a full blooded Yaqui, was born and raised in Sonora, Mexico. It's important for me to keep my varied heritage alive in my work, share it with others and bring recognition to those who inspire me.
