This piece represents the relief, joy and hope I felt after receiving the COVID vaccine. I felt as if a huge weight was lifted from my shoulders. I think the pandemic has put a huge strain on our emotional, physical and psychological well being. This painting represents freedom and hope for the future.
About Artist
STATEMENT
My work is inspired by my thoughts, feelings, musings and meditations about reality and whether there is such a thing. Who am I and how do I fit into the infinite cosmos? Buddhist teaching says everything is part of everything else just one infinite, timeless oneness and what we call reality is just a dream, a phantom, a drop of dew, a bolt of lightning. I like that thought.
