Ghosted is a 16x20 acrylic painted abstract. The canvas is gallery wrapped with a small bit of black dripping over the sides. This is ready to hang and no frame is necessary. This painting has a matte finish. The piece was created by pouring several layers of acrylic paint and tipping the canvas so the paint slides. Before each layer dries, another layer is poured and tipped until the desired look is achieved. Drips and drops are splattered all over the dried piece. This monochrome artwork is haunting as a ghostly figure seems to appear on the right side of the canvas.

Michigan has an amazing color palette, and the change in seasons inspire me. This inspiration is reflected in pieces that are textured or colorful. I also like to play with movement of light and shadows. My favorite subjects to paint are trees and landscape. My favorite tool to paint with is a palette knife.More About Artist
