This Painting is inspired by my interest in the mystical/mythical world of nature where elf, sylphs, fairies, gnomes and other magical creatures inhabit a mystical realm that mere humans are not allowed. Few have been lucky enough to be invited in fewer still have been allowed to leave. In this world the curtain is lifted that hides its wonder from human sight. It is here that anything you can imagine exists.

STATEMENT
My work is inspired by my thoughts, feelings, musings and meditations about reality and whether there is such a thing. Who am I and how do I fit into the infinite cosmos? Buddhist teaching says everything is part of everything else just one infinite, timeless oneness and what we call reality is just a dream, a phantom, a drop of dew, a bolt of lightning. I like that thought.
