Everything is connected to and is part of everything else. This describes a universal oneness and is the essence of Zen practice and meditation. It is a beautiful thought and quantum physicists would agree with it. Nature of course works exactly in this way and the result is continuous beauty and wonder. This painting is inspired by these thoughts and meditations.
About Artist
STATEMENT
My work is inspired by my thoughts, feelings, musings and meditations about reality and whether there is such a thing. Who am I and how do I fit into the infinite cosmos? Buddhist teaching says everything is part of everything else just one infinite, timeless oneness and what we call reality is just a dream, a phantom, a drop of dew, a bolt of lightning. I like that thought.
