STATEMENT
In my painting practice, I am investigating embodiment using the spaces in my home as a point of departure. In our homes we find evidence of our behaviours, and our cultural norms. Central to these paintings is the idea that where there is nothing to see there is the most to see, the things that are most incidental become the most important. I think of this body of work as investigations of daily life, they ask us to look back at our cultural unconscious, at ourselves.
