This lamp seamlessly blends hand-crafted walnut members with 3D printed components, resulting in a harmonious hybrid approach. Materials are explicitly chosen to balance performance and aesthetics; organic 3D printed nylon joints are connected by long walnut members, while recycled PETG diffuses light through captivating textures. STATEMENT
Voldt reimagines tools and objects around us, crafting designs to be as unique as the person using them. With the belief that unique and sustainable designs should be accessible to everyone, the studio uses a multidisciplinary approach merging design, coding, and digital fabrication methods such as 3D printing to craft novel processes and one-of-a-kind design outcomes. Committed to sustainability, we use plant-based polymers derived from sugarcane. All of our work are both suitable for residential use commercial grade applications.
