Every relationship and opportunity are all imperfect pieces that somehow fit perfectly into the puzzle. Throughout every experience, there’s one constant: connections. The connections and relationships I have with the people are special to me and help me navigate through this life. A connection is not something you can force or buy. In this piece I chose to let my hand be free with line drawings. I combined the line drawings with color and faces or “phases” that are all apart of a connection. The inherent puzzle of life.
About Artist
STATEMENT
Painting, sketching, and photographing are how I express myself. Most of the time my pieces are made only to be “destroyed” and turned into something else. Artwork is about imperfection. Recognizing beauty in pain is a part of being human. The complexities of the human experience inspire me. I hope to expand people’s mindsets of what “art” is.
