What a great time we had at my final 2025 Artist Studio Insider Tour through Ann Arbor! We met up on November 19th for a quick drink and introductions then we snuggled into a van where we were chauffeured around to three of my artist partners studios to discover brilliant artworks! Interior designers from local firms and a few industry professionals joined me on this fun adventure.
Together, we were inspired by elegant and show-stopping artworks to accentuate a commercial and hospitality brand’s DNA without being “cookie cutter” or too eclectic. We had a fun time on this local adventure and were delighted by a 3D printer in action creating high-tech lighting, we chatted with a designer who fabricates sleek, industrial-designed wall sculptures and furniture, and learned what it takes to quilt contemporary textiles that redefine handmade traditions.
November’s exclusive outing offered a unique experience to see the art world from an artist’s perspective. The evening began with an intimate look at my artist partner’s most significant pieces. Afterward we stayed for drinks, food and conversation.
