How do I choose categories and subcategories?

Choosing the most appropriate categories when listing your artwork means that when a buyer searches for an item similar to yours it shows up in the Showroom. And that’s our goal, right?

Start with the main art category and go through the sub categories to choose the best fit.  If you can’t find what you’re looking for contact us. If we get enough people asking for the category you need, we’ll add it.

If you need to edit your listing, you can do so at any time in your Store Dashboard.

A few things that buyers look for all the time;

  1. Artwork category;
    1. Painting
    2. Photography
    3. Sculpture
    4. Furniture
    5. Fine Craft
    6. Fiber/Textiles
    7. Lighting
    8. Paper
    9. Drawing
  2. Medium – what it’s made from, the substrate, or its product category.
  3. Size – because if it doesn’t fit, they won’t buy it.
  4. Price, of course.
  5. Colors – you’re able to choose up to 3/product
  6. Subject then Style.
  7. Finally, Type.

When you’re filling in your product information to list, remember to enter as much accurate detail as possible. You may edit product information any time you need to.
