The paint colors include neutrals, calming blues and warmer earth tones.
Every year, usually in the Fall the paint companies choose their “color of the year” for the subsequent year. For 2022, Pantone chose two colors used together and other companies stayed within the green hues. Now, for 2023 it’s all about self-expression which works for me because artwork is ALSO about expressing oneself, both in the creation and purchase
I’ve put together a list of the 2023 Colors of the Year and paired them with brilliant artwork from the Embrace Creatives gallery!

Raspberry Blush by Benjamin Moore
Benjamin Moore’s pick for 2023 color of the year is a vibrant red-orange called Raspberry Blush. The saturated shade energizes a room for a lively look that’s anything but timid and that’s good because on Embrace Creatives, we curate in exciting two-dimensional artworks that would fit beautifully with this cheery wall paint.
For this delightful 2023 color, I chose Canyon Souls [right], an abstract painting with a collage feel by EC artist Jan Brown and Cream 1 [left], a soft and innovative geometric artwork by EC artist, Elizabeth Ewing.
Soft shades of white and beige balance the bright, rosy hue.

Vining Ivy by Glidden
Odes to nature continue to be popular in 2023. Vining Ivy blends blue and green into a colorful yet soothing backdrop. Glidden paired this color with warm woods, neutral greys and rich accents.
I added both No. 7880 – Sashabas Study [left] and No. 784 – Sashabaw Study [right], mixed media artworks by EC artist Robert Mirek to the design.
Soft shades of white and beige balance the bright, rosy hue.

Redend Point by Sherwin Williams
Although introduced in the Fall, this warm neutral shade will work as a year-round color. Redend Point, a biophilic-inspired hue can work equally well in a creative office space and a bedroom.
For this special color I paired a figurative, abstract painting, Dreaming Myself In White by EC artist Rinat Goren.
