It’s a crazy time! We’re stuck inside, self-isolating at home with either a full house or an empty space. Many of us are trying to figure out what to do next, where to get toilet paper, when we’re going to be “back to normal” and what the “new normal” will be!
To keep our connections and learn how others in our EC community are fairing, we’re interviewing our EC Members! Catch up with them and see how they’re spending their @ home time, creating and doing business.
Today we’re catching up with EC Artist Member, Paula Marie Deubel!
EC: Give us a brief introduction.
EC: Where in your home do you spend the most time?
Paula: “Extra bedroom, that I want to turn into an art studio — if only I had the energy.“
EC: What’s the biggest challenge you face being self-quarantined?
Paula: “Not getting enough exercise.”
EC: What’s the best part about being self-quarantined?
Paula: “Art! Art! Art! More time for creativity and creative projects.”
EC: Has your artwork or process changed or adapted?
Paula: “Yes; I’m learning the style of Hyper Realism, mostly in thanks to The Atelier studio.”
EC: How have your social media posts changed?
Paula: “I’m posting less, as I’m taking advantage of this lull in life for pure creation of art (and writing).”
EC: How are you spending your free time?
Paula: “I’ve been enjoying old classic movies of the forties on my Roku! They are so cool and have such wondrous plots! I do this each night while shining a laser light around the room for my border collie to chase (he has very major cabin fever right now)!”
EC: Are you doing something new doing during this challenging time that you will stick with?
Paula: “More yoga!”
