Note From Embrace Creatives’s Founder, Andrea Bogart on COVID-19 and What EC is Doing to Support Our Local, National & Global Members and Art Community + Resources.

To my Embrace Creatives community,

COVID-19 is impacting all of us, globally, as individuals and communities and I know that it’s affecting artists, arts businesses and gig workers deeply. Given the sudden change in our lives I’ve decided to move the next Growth Series event, Protecting Your Art & Business to online-only.

Because it will now be live online MORE of you can participate and learn about copyright protection, insuring your small business and trademarks while virtually meeting experts to add to your support system.

Join our FREE, live+online Telling Your Story speaker event on Thursday, April 30th at 5:30pmclick here to RSVP.

In addition to moving this event online, we will hold off on any in-person events or meetings until our Mix With a Maker, art & design showcase with the American Society of Interior Designers on May 14th. Right now there is no plan to alter this date but I’ll stay in contact with ASID as the months roll on and stay in touch.

Apply to our Mix With a Maker: Interior Design event in Detroit (date TBA). Each accepted Artist & Designer will be included in a special, pre-event video introduction sent out to all ASID MI members! Click here to read more and apply

At Embrace Creatives, our mission is to ignite an empowerment movement for artists and buyers, uniting them online and off but for now, we’ll be concentrating on online connections, education and opportunities. Please know that I’m ALWAYS working to support your growth.

  • You can still access our educational blog, art calls, grants and apply to THE A LISTOur online community will not be affected and in fact, I encourage you to engage MORE on our network. If you’d like to write a guest article on any topic, please contact us!
  • Our EC Newsfeed and Facebook Group are always available: Continue to post your updates as you stay safe creating and working your business.
  • Find new artwork for inspiration or sales: Until our new sales-focused, website goes live our community is still uploading Portfolios in our Art Gallery.

I thank you for your understanding during these extraordinary times. Please continue to follow your country, state and local guidelines to remain safe and healthy.
